Does anyone know of any mods out there to make Act 2 and Act 3 encounters more challenging?
Tactician mode just isn't cutting it. The game starts off difficult mainly because you essentially have less tools in your arsenal. As your character progresses, the encounters don't seem progress along with you. I don't want to not level or not put on strong equipment to make harder encounters via making myself weaker. I just want bosses and enemies to hit harder or have more tricks up their sleeves.

So, does anyone have mods to recommend to make the game harder, because I'm having a hard time finding difficulty mods on Nexus

Lethal AI Enemies, Enemies Enhanced, and Tactician Plus all claim to make the game harder.

stronger boss mod. It is specifically to amp up bosses in act 2 and 3

Honestly... i wouldn't say that early levels are too hard either, simply because enemies are much weaker as well... that's the problem with strategy games, they just get too easy or enemies are cheating like crazy

if your looking for combat improvement you can change the HEALTHBOOST_HARDCORE boost for tactician from

data "Boosts" "IncreaseMaxHP(30%);RollBonus(Attack,2);SpellSaveDC(2)"

to

data "Boosts" "IncreaseMaxHP(200%);DamageBonus(1d8);RollBonus(Attack,1d8);AC(1d8);CriticalHitExtraDice(2, MeleeWeaponAttack);CriticalHitExtraDice(2, MeleeUnarmedAttack);CriticalHitExtraDice(2, RangedWeaponAttack);CriticalHitExtraDice(2, MeleeSpellAttack);CriticalHitExtraDice(2, RangedSpellAttack);ReduceCriticalAttackThreshold(1);RollBonus(AllSavingThrows,1d8)"

Just expect critical hits to hurt like a major... A critical will be 3 extra dice plus 3d8 bonus damage.

File has to be extracted from the shared.pak and then placed in this location.
BG3\Data\Public\Shared\Stats\Generated\Data\Status_BOOST.txt

That's not difficulty, that's just getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bent-over-backwards by RNG
