The game will launch today for Mac. We have not been given the time, but I am guessing sometime this afternoon, British summertime

From what I can assume, with the Steam updates coming at 6pm (GMT), that's when we're gonna see the change being made so adjust that to a local timezone and you should see the approximate time for anything new to happen.

I just saw that link on Twitter, and yes, I am wrong! 😰

It seems like it will now launch tomorrow! 🤬 Although, I now have my doubts about that.

Let me see if I can get myself back on the invite list for our University Freshers party! I had said I wouldn't be going to that tonight because I would be playing the Mac version of BG3 that's not going to be launched today. 😠

Then, Can I install the game now? because based on the previous release mechanism as I remember, deletion of previous version of game was required.

This is ridiculous, we were told the full game would be available on Mac. Supporting game development on Mac is pretty much the only reason I bought it, because it's quite simple enough to just torrent a Windows game these days.

Release date comes out and POOF, Mac version delayed even though early access worked fine. Fast forward a month to the *new* expected release date, and it's postponed again!

At this point, I regret buying the game and 100% would not have purchased it if I had known this is how Larian was going to play Mac users.
