[Disguise Self] Why doesn't it change the Caster's voice?
Hello,

More of a Roleplay question I guess :
Why doesn't "Disguise Self" change the voice of the caster?
https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Disguise+Self

This spell can be used to enter small holes, by becoming a smaller race.
So the change isn't an illusion, the caster's body is really morphed into a new body.
So why does the character keep his voice?

Was it just overlooked by the devs?
Are the vocal cords the only part not morphed?
Or am I missing something else?

Thanks for taking the time to read my little thread and have a nice day. :)

No D&D Pro willing to share some deep hidden knowledge?
No problem, I tried. Enjoy your playthrough. :)

In the pen and paper Rules as written, it purely changes you visually. Does not change the way you sound, feel, or smell.

Per dnd rules it shouldn't even let you do this, its a bit of a exploit.
You have to pay voice actors
