Act 3 -- questions on Raphael and The Emperor

SPOILERS FOR ACT 3

I've made it a good ways into Act 3 and just found the House of Hope. The Emperor has warned me several times to not go. I have sided with the emperor so far and have even romanced him. I have no plans to side with Raphael or free Orpheus. I just want to go and loot the place. Can I go and still side with the emperor in the end or does this cross a line?

You can still side with the Emperor. You don't have to make a final decision until late in Act 3.
