Is Gale still annoying with the come ons?

I dont like my party members flirty n coming on to me all the time.
I know they added some dialogue options so you can choose something other than rejection or boning. But does he keep pestering you? And i dont care if "i can just say no" over and over for the whole game. Its annoying AF and i dont want that vibe in my game.
If hes annoying as a party member, il just play As him on some other run.
But id highly appreciate if yall could tell me how he is as a party member?

Yes. They said they "fixed" his dialogue, which they may have. They did not fix his broken triggers that prompt him to continuously try to have sex with you.

Hm, ok. Seems its best to play as him so i can avoid that. I heard Wyll has similar issues so im playing as him for my first playtrough. Are there any other pushy/broken flirts i need to be aware of? Astarion is fine. Vampires are always bisexual seducers in modern fiction, so im kinda used to it xD

In my playthrough, yes. I was forced to dump him although I never dated him in the first place, and was also forced into a convo with Astarion, who is the only character I have flirted with, stating I'd chosen him over Gale. Then after that, Halsin made a pass at me, as did someone else who I'll not mention in case it's a spoiler. I wish they would at least stop doing it after the game dramatically makes you "pick" and that the companions would know we are dating someone already when random NPC's do. It seems to me it is not fixed, and exhausting the dialogue with anyone makes them think you are into them.

Gale did. Or rather he acted like we were in a relationship when nothing of the sort ever happened, not even leading him on. The others seem to shut up afterwards.

haven't had any issues with any of the characters. when they start hitting on you, you just tell them "no", and they are fine with it.

You don't have to even take him (or anyone else) if you don't want to. You can safely ignore the rock he is stuck in and he will not explode the coast. Just a head up.

So of Gale really makes you that uncommon leave him there. You can use a hireling or respec someone else to a wizard if you really need one.

I finally took him along on my current playthrough his aproval is easily double that of any other companion, but he hasn't made any advance - nor has there been any dialoge options about cats/magic shows.

By contrast shadowheart is a lot more easy? loose? ( not sure what the proper PC term is ) this time round that the first one - not sure if it's due to updates or this tav being female.

Gotta say I love the random back and forths between gale, karlch and shadowheart - even tough as a mute tav you can at times feel like the 'new guy' that everybody forgot about ;)

Theyre definitely NOT fine with it at points xD
Look at those rejected puppydog eyes some of them make when you reject them!
And the thing is, i dont want to have to say no, constantly. With some characters it worse than others.

Ye, i want the content that he brings to the table. He has quests n stuff. Id like content without the pp sucking, or even alluding to it tho xD

For me the Karlach is bugged. She acted like we were couple when I was in relationship with Gale and I turned her down even before. Then suddenly she speaks to me with "my love" and I now can said her over and over(the text didnt vanished after 1 time) that I'm with Gale(act 3 too so I'm "locked" in romance). No other problems with other characters I just turned them down(gently). and when my character or Karlach "die" in fight they scream "Not youu!!" Like we are in relationship(Gale also screams XD). So I think game thinks I romance both in some ways.

In my playthrough I had to ignore him and still at the end of Act 2 when I got with Shadowheart I had to have a conversation with him where he was upset it was over between us(it was never on).

The game also, I can only assume, gives you another chance with him at the very end of Act 2 with the option "give him a chance" (in italics).

i left him in the rock and haven't seen him since. I may have just missed him, but I'm pretty good about filling out the map.
