Dye combo list

I looked around to see if anyone had made a video or post on great looking dye
combinations, that might work well on any armor ( like chest/boots, or even Chest/boots/gloves/cape ) but didn't see any.
Has anyone compiled a list of good ones? I have been trying out various dyes on my
rogues leather chest armor and it seems to only change the undershirt color, and
then make the actual armor some various shade of dull brown. I tried other characters
with medium and heavy armor, and I guess I'm just not good at the color combos,
they all end up looking "just ok".

I just came on here to ask this myself. Because we have to spend a dye just to test it out. In late game that's not a problem, but in early game that kinda sux.

And... it would also be nice if they could give us some more dye options.

I am sort of surprised that there aren't several threads with screenshots showing off
people best looking colors and combos, with as big of an rpg community as BG3.
I have found plenty of dye options, but I like to look for any and every person who
trades stuff, so far I don't have any complaints on the amount of dyes, I just suck
at making them look good.

I almost think that dye should be free. Just go to sub screen, even if you want to tie that subscreen to being near a merchant.

I won't engage in the dye system because I'm too concerned about every single gold mattering. I can't imagine spending all that gold to experiment with the dye.

But I really want to.

OR (BETTER IDEA) - Let's have dyes be ubiquitous in the loot tables. Just splash it around everywhere so it's fun to find the right colors, and it turns into a little bit of vendor trash at worst.

Awesome, thank you 😀 - this should work, I heard about guides before but totally
forgot about them.

Callirgos - I haven't seen them cost too much, like usually 8-10g each, maybe a little
more for the rare ones, but I don't think I have even seen 1 of those rares cost 50g.
