whats the point of the water queens house?

I cant seem to find anything interesting. There isn't anyworthwhile loot. No quests, or a story related encounter. Most interresting thing is when you use speak with dead on the dead girl. But it's ultimately pointless. Is there something about that place i missed? because it just seems like it's taking up space.

You do it in BG for the book of Wisdom during the Marek and Lothander quest. There's another temple in Brynnlaw in BG2 for you to raze and of course the Sahaugin city where they worship Umberlee by another name. It's just not BG if you aren't killing Priestesses of Umberlee.
