Better sell to vendors that travel from act 1 to act 3.
incase you will need something back
It isnt failsafe. I had to reload a savegame an hour back because only ceremonial weapons can be used in the Monestary puzzle on Tactician difficulty ( where rusty or any placeholders could be used at lower difficulties ) and not knowing this i sold these green weapons off as i do not need green stuff.
But it had vanished, no vendor still had it to rebuy.
Yes, but when you have hundreds and later possibly thousands of items on offer, it's hard to separate the ♥♥♥♥ from the gems - so to speak.
I understand that, but it's a horribly inefficient way to do it.
In the least give us the option to have a separate "buyback" items?
I tend to start by using the slider (top middle) to switch to trading rather then bartering.
This also sorts the merchants inventory somewhat.
Then I transfer the bags with loot that I have flagged "As Wares"
Then I shop.
If you still find it impossible to get an overview, there are categories you can flip through.
Yeah, I tried to switch to trading. But the issue with categories was that those categories are bugged. For instance, weapons show up as "ingredients" or something like that. The whole vendor mechanic is a mess - and it's been that way since Divinity as well.
