Coruscation Ring (cleric needs to be illuminated, so cast light on them, or wield blood of lathander for a melee version)
Luminous Armour
Luminous Gloves
Callous Glow Ring (this just adds +2 damage to anything that is illuminated)
Although I just did some testing - that normally only applies 4 stacks of radiating orb per hit.
It applies 6 stacks of radiant orb if you also have the radiant damage buff from the temple of lathander - I guess the extra radiant damage is calculated separately. It's kind of an exploit.
Either way, pretty broken. Haste Shadowheart, have her cast spirit guardians and then guiding bolt. Both hits will also give radiant orb to naything within 3 meters. Do that two turns in a row and whatever you're fighting is totally crippled
You could probably make a real powerful fighter/cleric build around this to take full advantage of spirit guardians.. Unfortunately there aren't many good AOE radiant spells - It would be totally ridiculous if you could tag a group with a large aoe spell every turn.
No problem, have fun with it! and like I said in my edit, this build is probably best as fighter/cleric or anything melee/cleric so you can keep slamming spirit guardians every turn.
Crazy idea. Get 2 hirelings. Respect them to Cleric.
Use their Divine Favours to get 2 maces.
Equip both maces to STR based dual wielding martial class.
There you go, good use for clerics! :D
Also, totally going to have to try this!
Damn, just read, it can only be equipped in the main hand. Larian one step ahead of me!
TLDR, crits happen, need healer.
Light cleric wants to have a word with you.
Also, don't misjudge Call Lightning. It may be "Concentration bullcrap", but ten free casts of a 3d10-damage AOE spell is no joke.
