Unintended bonus loot in the house of hope.
If you have hope use Divine intervention, and cast arm thy servant, You can get the the exclusive mace with out wasting the cast on Shadowheart or a cleric MC. You just need to have a warrior use Disarming strike on hope until she let's go of the damn thing.

Or you can get one of the Cleric Mercs Withers offers you, have them use it, and take it from them before dismissing them. Bit more reliable that way.

I'm thinking of doing my next run without withers just for the challenge.

Yeah I just discovered this. I had Hope cast Divine Intervention, and at some point during the battle one of the cam's disarmed her and she dropped it. I was surprised after the fight and her chat, the weapon was still there. Score a free legendary mace!

divine intervention is aviable only one time for each character, are you saying me a cleric can cast this two times?
EDIT: oh ok, you just disarmed an npc, nothing strange

Hope can cast this while she's temporarily with your party in house of hope... so free legendary weapon if you can get her to drop it during the end fight battle.

yes i got it, but it is normal because that mace is permanent in the world when is summoned, it is just nice that happens this :) however at that point of the game you are so freaking full of items that you can easily sell or trash or just collect that mace
edit: damn this mace is very good xD

This mace is nothing compared to the Deva mace I accidentally found. It's 1d6 bludgeoning dmg plus 4d8 radiant.

First discovered Devas could drop them when I stole relics from the basement of the Stormshore temple in Baldur's Gate. Two devas attacked me as I left, but when I looted their bodies, they had nothing. On a different playthrough, something weird happened: they didn't attack me immediately. They attacked me later that day when I was resting at the Elfsong tavern. It coincided with the event where vampires try to abduct Astarion.

End result was that the next day after all the bodies had disappeared, there were two pouches on the floor from where the Deva corpses had been; each contained a Deva mace. I gave one to Minthara and with 22 strength and the right gear, the lack of an attack bonus doesn't matter.

Those notes only mention trying to take it from a friendly (summoned) Deva. My drops were from enemy Devas that nobody in my party summoned.

And it was probably a bug due to the location of where the fight happened (in my camp).

Same thing happens if you go to Lorroakan's Tower sometime after fighting him, you can pick up the Elemental's weapons, unless they fixed it.

Yup, I noticed this too. But those weapons are pretty mediocre aside from their elemental effect. The Deva mace is something I ended up using right to the end.
