Possible DOS2 Easter Egg (Spoilers Within)
No idea if anyone else has already stumbled upon this, but I had to share just in case. I've been waiting to see where Tarquin appears in BG3 ever since finishing DOS2. His final dialogue made it very obvious he was planning to head to a plane inhabited by mind flayers, or as he put it "creatures that feed on minds."

I just finished clearing the Sharran temple in Baldur's Gate and I found several logs that indicate the presence of an "interloper." A journal entry in the House of Grief shows the visitors that came to the temple.

The last visitor entry reads:
"Marcon Creenn (possible false name) - curious sort, not local, by accent. Black hair, pale complexion - prying heart. Paid in full with unknown gold currency and was referred for Uburdening, but fled."

After that a note mentions:
"Mother V has ordered we seek out this "Marco Creenn" if possible; during his Mapping, she detected thoughts and memories of strange lands and unfamiliar people. Fixated on a sword - or possibly zord(?) Mother V's interest was piqued - she wants that mind.

Update: The trail has gone cold. It is as if he vanished entirely."

Later, within the chamber housing Shadowheart's kin, another ledger reveals several persons incarcerated within the temple. The last person is listed as "Unknown Interloper." Not sure if this is another possible reference to Tarquin, since the note says the interloper is "deceased."

Anyways, I could be totally wrong about this, but the description of Marco Creenn does fit Tarquin. He was fixated on a sword that the heroes used in DOS2 as well--though I don't know if that's what his memories were referring to. What do ya'll think? Has anyone found other evidence proving that Tarquin visited Faerun?

"Marco Creenn" is an anagram of "Necromancer".

Oh, that's brilliant. Thanks for your comment MurphyRock. Not sure I would have figured that out on my own. So that really just further supports the idea that Tarquin was in Baldur's Gate. I wonder if there is any way to find him before he leaves...
