Camp supplies change?
All 3 teams I've been running, no matter the NPC count in camp, has taken 40 supplies/nite. one team, for instance, currently has 72 in the camp traveller chest (in the chest, not in something in the chest), but when I go for a long rest it says I don't've enuf. Is it suppose to be 10 per current party N/PC per nite? Version Steam 4.1.1.3700362, no mods

It would also be nice if Traders replenish every now & then! I've tapped all the Act 1 traders, looted Auntie Ethyl's, the inn, etc.

Don't know how much you're sleeping my dude, but you're supposed to use supplies for healths and spells. Are you doing long rests after every fights? Short rests are way better.

It's always 40 per night. 80 per night on tactician.

If you truly have exhausted all sources of food in act one, then you've been long resting significantly too often. I left act 1 with like 1000 food

the camp chest isn't counted, you need to pick them up onto an active party member.
Its unusual to need to rest more than 4 or 5 times total in act 1. I cannot imagine running out of food, they give you about 1500 or so units.

Well he could try to long rest for cutscenes and such but you're not supposed to use food for that.

I use LR when I'm out of short rests, and usually only when I know there's a fight coming, so not abusing it. I just noticed that, for instance, a bottle of wine might be worth 4 camp supplies-I had 6 in the stack, so that made me realize it's really 24-I've over 125 CS in booze alone. So I guess it's the 'you have to be carrying'? I've been making a practice of sending CS to camp, and not having in in hand when I LR-has that been changed?

Jonnin has the right of it, I had to take the supplys out of the trunk-altho I was sure I'd a) put the owlbear egg in the trunk, and B) had to make sure I didn't selection it
That's bugged, it says you don't have enough because it only counts the camp supplies in your player inventories and not the ones that are actually at camp. When you interact with the fire to start a long rest, it shows all the supplies in your travelers chest too. So you never have to have camp supplies in your actual inventory AND you can always ignore this warning. Do you mean you literally don't have enough stuff? how is that even possible? They could increase the supply requirement to 160 and you could easily long rest after nearly every encounter without EVER buying anything. You're not looting or not pressing alt.

If you're picking up food whenever you see it and using the alt key to highlight everything in the environment, then you could long rest after every other fight and still leave act 1 with a few hundred extra units of food. There's just so much. Every sausage link and every bottle of wine count as camp supplies and they're EVERYWHERE. I know it's tedious to rummage through every barrel you find, but if you wanna eat well then you'll rummage.

Same, I haven't collected food since act 1 and part way into act3 now, still don't feel the need to start collecting again. To run out of food you either need to NEVER EVER be collecting it or just be long resting so so much.

That said it would be nice if camp supplies in the camp chest counted toward it so you didn't need to carry around so much.

Something has changed. Today was the first time I got the message that I was carrying no food. But I have been sending it all back to camp for weeks. Its a nice QOL feature to nat have to carry it.
