Since Sarevok's strength of will is what kept his soul intact after physical death and allowed him to be somewhat ressurected (he himself admits he is not sure if he is wholy alive), it should be possible.

With that said I doubt that this will be part of the plot in bg3.

I'm wondering too. There are many ways to bring people back in D&D. Especially if were talking about someone who was tickling godhood.
My other question is are we sure that all of the Gorion's Ward brothers and sisters are dead all it would take is just one of them to have a child to keep Bhaal bloodline going

Yes. It's canon that they are all dead. And I was thinking about them having children too. Its one of the things swimming in my head about how I would connect 3 to 1 and 2. Amongst many other ways.

BG 1-2 protagonist can have a son with Aerie and according to her epilogue eventually a daughter. Romanced Viconia's epilogue also states that they have a Child. However, the taint is most likely non inherited, since its not a part of the bhaalspawn but rather just uses them as a vessel. Up to the debate though. .

The main character from the BG1 and BG2 games

Why bring him back? It will just generate complaints no matter how they do it. It just doesn't make sense for Larian to court the controversy.

Would be nice if you could import your character from BG2 for this. That would be an awesome homage.

they are alive, they reached godhood and thus are immortal

if Bhaal is worshipable diety in BG3, there we go, that's your Gorions Ward

You just can't. The save files are just outdated scrambled data which have absolutely nothing to do with how data is managed In the old bg games with bg3. They are absolutely incompatible.

Not in canon, no. Canonically he denied godhood, became duke of Baldur's Gate for a while, fought one of his siblings where they killed each other, then had a funeral.

how do you know that

Lol... no... you can always convert format. Idc either way, just wanted to point out that it's possible. I think the only issue would be the save state snapshot time. I know BG1 saved immediately after the Seravok kill, but did BG2 save like that?
