Report a translation problem
Depends. If you take a cantrip that doesn't utilise intelligence (ie, light, true strike, blade ward, etc), then this isn't an issue. Problem is, the non stat using cantrips in BG3 are rather lackluster to crappy. The good choices from the table top aren't in the game.
If you're already playing a sorcerer, just pick the attack cantrips you want as sorcerer spells, and use your racial cantrips for something else.
Or any checks for that matter but I can't use it on a rock standing in my way. Sadly.
