The setting is so reused and old its not even a question. Old ip, old engine, old mechanics, its difficult to make something exceptional by reusing old but larian is managing it well.
Your opinion or Awards ?
This is gonna get univeral acclaim just like DOSII.
Might not have as much of an insanely good story as I am inclined to believe FFXVI will due to how good Yoshi-P and his team have been with FFXIV's, but it's still gonna be a god-tier game.
Honestly i hope they return to Divinity with the same cinematic style as BG3 it will be so cool to see that world in such a cinematic way, although i guess you could say you already can in their previous divinity titles.
ff 13 and 15 dont teach you anything people :D
Hogwarts is not a RPG, its an Action Adventure.
That being said, awards does not matter, it is just the majority that votes and the majority of people don´t even know what the core mechanics of RPG´s are... or what a cRPG is for that matter..
Best to just support and enjoy games you like and let all the weird award shows (populartity contest) be what it is. I always ignore it.
Too bad its the streamlined super diluted dnd 5e though, with a good system with actual place for builds it would have been a GOTYAY.
I was interested in FF. But they decided to shun the PC. So I'm going to shun them too.
