Bless is best spell in the game.
Luckily you don't really have to play optimally it seems, so you can have some fun with Spirit Guardians or you can just get a different character for Bless upkeep.
Against a melee-oriented enemy formation that you can get into the area of effect, I'd absolutely consider it better than Bless.
Bless you child in your ignorance.
There is more than one character who can cast Bless or Spirit Guardians, so there's no reason you can't have both!
Ranged and spell casters it's not as good for, especially if they are perched in different locations around the fighting area.
Everything has it's advantages and disadvantages.
Misty step for bonus action x3 I been savage with spirit guardian xD
Bless is roughly 10% better accuracy and 10% better saves for 3 people. That is a quite powerful for a level 1 spell slot.
