I want a refund.
This is for Developer only. Nerds need not reply. You will be ignored...

This game has been crap for too long. I didn't sign up for it to be crap. My pre order was based on the love of the baldur's gate 1 and 2 from my childhood. I've been refused a refund from steam repeatedly.

I want my money back because I do not want to support this type of nonsense in the gaming community. I do not support companies dragging their feet while sitting on my money. I barely got to try a brief section of the game that wasn't enjoyable. It has been 3 years since. I still do not have my money or a product. This is unacceptable.

However if you want to refund on release week make sure you don't play more than 2 hours after the game releases.

refunds go through steam support, nobody can refund it here
Refunds are handled by Steam.

If you've been a gamer since BG1-2 like I have, then you know this is a pointless post. This isn't how you get a refund.

Refunds go through steam support. The developers can't help you even if they read this. Your request being posted to the forums makes no sense to anyone.

You didn't pre order a game, you bought a game in early access. There's a world of difference. It's also explained very clearly on the store page had you taken the time to look.

I've been refused a refund from steam repeatedly.

Steam refunds are granted for under 2 hours of play or less than 2 weeks of ownership. You could have looked at the steam guidelines to know this.

You have exactly what you paid for: a game in early access.

Full release is scheduled for August of this year.

The only thing that's clear is you didn't read or understand anything about what you were buying.

Developers don't refund games. Distributors do. Go to Steam support.

If you've had the game for months though, or played for over two hours and didn't refund then then you shouldn't expect a refund because it would be in violation of Steam's refund policy.

OP has apparently owned game more that 3 years and now expects refund?

Get ******* real.

New thing I discovered. Blocking everyone who isn't a developer representative. Super helpful. Thanks Steam!

You have a product as advertised, though.

But okay.

Good luck OP and good riddance.

As people said in the other thread you made as well as this one:
Larian dosn't handle refunds. Steam does. Ask them instead.

Tip for Steam representative if you read this. Blocking people from a thread all together would be useful. Preventing a blocked person from continuing to post, not pinging me with there being a new message from a blocked person. Very useful quality of life improvements for someone actually seeking assistance with an issue. It will prevent trolling in the posts.

Social forums are not the places for tyrants and dictators who seek to impose their will on others while simultaneously take away other people's freedom of speech.

You can block people all you want but they can still respond to you because they can still see you. All you are doing is making yourself deaf and hurting yourself.

But hey, you are equally free to give bad takes as we are to criticize those bad takes.

If you'd like to contact Steam support, may I suggest https://help.steampowered.com/en/ instead of a forum they don't read?

If you'd like to contact Larian, I'd suggest https://larian.com/contact likewise

There's an unusually high number of trolls today for some reason 🤷‍♂️
