Do The fiend and The great old one subclasses have access to exclusive spells
I am currently looking at The fiend and The great old one subclasses on Fextralife and they highlight different choices of spells for each subclasses.

https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Dark+One's+Blessing

https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Mortal+Reminder

It is not mentionned in the Fextralife page that this is a subclass specificity.
Is it a writting error or do each subclass have a portion of exclusive spells compared with the other subclass?

Yes, each patron gives you additional spells to choose from when you learn warlock spells.

This also applies to each school of magic for wizards ?

They do get extra spells, but unlike how it works for classes like Cleric or Paladin who get their subclass spells as permanently-prepared bonuses, Warlock subclass spells are only just additional options to pick from as you level up.

For example, Fiend Warlock notably gets Fireball as a level 3 spell option, but they don't just automatically gain it as an option to cast once they hit level 5, they need to specifically choose it during leveling up as a new spell option. So, it'll come at the cost of choosing a different warlock spell at that level.

No, Wizards already have the potential to learn every wizard spell, and they have enormous spell lists (several times larger than most other classes!). They don't have extra spells associated with their subclass.

An exception to that are the Chronomancy and Graviturgy subclasses, but they're not in the PHB and won't be part of the 1.0 launch.

They should have expanded spell lists. Meaning, when you pick 'spells known' during level up, they have slightly different choices. They do not automatically get these spells, they would need to choose them as 'spells known'. The spells aren't 'exclusive' to a particular Warlock sub-class, but originate from other class spell lists.

For example, the Fiend has access to Fireball, normally only present on the Wizard and Sorcerer spell list, though some other sub-classes with expanded spell lists can access it too.

Well that is a huge choice to make... and it also kind of question the decision to chose non-warlock spells if you have several casters in the team.
Thanks!
