kill her take the armor and move on ...
=profit
LOL yeah man I hated her so I agree. Turned her into worm food. Took the armor.
They don't compare, aLe'zel is a martial and just destroys Shadowheart as a melee fighter (it's not even close, specially if you make her a battlemaster - GWM and 2 attacks per turn, plus Action Surge, X a really weak dagger hit or mace strike with low STR.
Yeah, I agree. You don't have to be evil, you just have to be willing to back her up and let her take charge sometimes, since that's what she likes to do.
She has spirit guardian on lvl5 and that is really strong but she won't hit anything with weapons or do decent dmg with them.
Clerics are not martial characters, while their spell dmg can be great, they can't hold candle in martial department to Paladins or Fighters.
Lezeal Is pretty good stat wise and battle master is really strong subclass.
She can be even decent eldrich knight if you give her the int17 amulet that Ogre has in Blighted villlage.
She has 2 attacks on lvl 5. That means that with Haste and Action surge, she can have 6 attacks per 1 round, once per short rest.
Nothing compares to that in EA, maybe hasted Paladin with full smite slots, but he can do that only once per long rest.
And you DON'T need to kill anyone to get her into party, just pass pretty easy deception roll. So do that.

It's deception. Rightfully.
The one I feel is kinda weird is the persuasion, the game seems to assume you'll actually help them to kill Lae'zel, because if you help her against them it's a much worse deception.
It's intimidation if you're a drow or a gith, I think. For most it's deception.
