What do I do with Lae'zel?
I've been using Shadowheart as my primary melee fighter, but I've rolled a second character (a rogue) and want to see how Lae'zel compares. Only problem is, she apparently doesn't get on with most of the other party members (in particular, she and Shadowheart despise each other) on top of being antagonistic a lot of the time.

I also would rather not have to kill two otherwise innocent people just to rescue her, but I don't see many other options.

They don't compare, aLe'zel is a martial and just destroys Shadowheart as a melee fighter (it's not even close, specially if you make her a battlemaster - GWM and 2 attacks per turn, plus Action Surge, X a really weak dagger hit or mace strike with low STR.

i like lae'z but if you want to make her happy you need to go the evil route mostly she's kind of a bad girl, where shadowheart is more of a good girl pretending to be bad.

I've found Laez to be rather easy to actually get to like my character, and without being evil. The worst thing I did was make the teifling grovel.

Yeah, I agree. You don't have to be evil, you just have to be willing to back her up and let her take charge sometimes, since that's what she likes to do.
Shadowheart is terrible melee fighter, her stat line is bad for melee attacking anything and she can't use any good melee weapons.
She has spirit guardian on lvl5 and that is really strong but she won't hit anything with weapons or do decent dmg with them.
Clerics are not martial characters, while their spell dmg can be great, they can't hold candle in martial department to Paladins or Fighters.

Lezeal Is pretty good stat wise and battle master is really strong subclass.
She can be even decent eldrich knight if you give her the int17 amulet that Ogre has in Blighted villlage.
She has 2 attacks on lvl 5. That means that with Haste and Action surge, she can have 6 attacks per 1 round, once per short rest.
Nothing compares to that in EA, maybe hasted Paladin with full smite slots, but he can do that only once per long rest.

And you DON'T need to kill anyone to get her into party, just pass pretty easy deception roll. So do that.

I think it is an intimidate check and not a bluff check to get the teethlings to run away.

It's deception. Rightfully.

The one I feel is kinda weird is the persuasion, the game seems to assume you'll actually help them to kill Lae'zel, because if you help her against them it's a much worse deception.

In the game, it determines what's your character intent, you can even have the SAME line with either "lie" or "speak the truth" before to show you what intentions are being represented..

It may be difficult to translate, but in my language the options are about this:

A) Give up Lae'zel and leave her in a cage.
B) Give up Lae'zel (trick the Tieflings, and when they leave) then release Lae'zel.
C) Kill or conditionally kill (stun) the Tieflings.
what is your primary language? can you post soemthing in it please always good to learn a new language.

It's intimidation if you're a drow or a gith, I think. For most it's deception.
