Those are called meme-characters.
I absolutely despise the Githyanki. I don't care for their lore or their aesthetic and I think D&D could have picked a much more interesting race to overthrow the Illithid Empire. I plan to annihilate all Githyanki in the majority of my playthroughs (except the one I play as Lae'zel, and maybe even then too).
Elfen Lied did terrible things to me when I was a teenager and I swore to stay away from anime since.
Worst class is Druid.
In BG3 a lot of the roleplay functionality of racial choice is thrown out the window, meaning your racial choice is for their stats, and to a minor extent your fun. Because of this, halfling suffers from adding to Dex but having no bonus cantrip or skills, or ability to see in the dark - this means there is less of a reason to play as a halfling in BG3 than being an elf (or half elf). People will still play as halflings, but those same people could also only play the game with their noses to create artificial difficulty.
As for Druidism, I enjoy tabletop druids because of the roleplaying aesthetic they can add, but in BG3 you can't go offscript as easily as you can in tabletop, so the real strength of them (wild shape) will be heavily neutered into a more strictly combat aethos).
So essentially the only reason 'worst' is created because it's a video game that has heavy limits on how much you can roleplay, since there's no human controlling things with the option to adapt on the fly.
as for utility of wild form sure you can't beat what you can do in tabletop, you got the cat to use as distraction, the badger and the dire raven for movement (fly and burrow), spider can jump high and web the ground so you can jump down with less damage, cat can also enter small space. It's not perfect but it got quite some utility outside of combat.
People mostly play halfdinks for the Lucky feature, it's great for crit-fishers. Halfling Champ/Paladin crit-fishing Divine Smiters to be precise.
Druids are amazing, even in BG3.
In BG3 the Moon Druid is my favorite caster Druid because I can lay down some AoE, such as Call Lightning, and then shift into Raven form the same turn for higher AC and Blindness attacks. A Hasted Druid utilizing the Wet condition and Call Lightning is a wrecking ball. I would even call it 'broken'.
Worst race is dwarf. I'll never in my life play as a dwarf.
This is an interesting perspective, which I respect. I feel the opposite. I'm also an atheist, but playing a cleric in D&D or Pathfinder makes perfect sense to me because their deities are demonstrably real, present, and active in day to day life.
All martial classes are better fighters and all casters are better casters than that class.
Also all other hybrids are better, like paladin.
If you want great archer go fighter, if you want animals go Druid.
Race, that is harder. Thx to racial bonuses each can be used to compliment specific class or build. and then there is personal preference in race for roleplaying,
I don't care for theiflings, but in general they are one of the most popular race choices in all of DnD.
When i started D&D it was the end of the second edition. At this time tieflings were monsters that you could fight during your adventures. On 3rd edition they were not available by default (with the core books) and were pretty absent from my games.
In D&D4 they show up, along with the Eladrin and dragonborn. I was so centered into the "basic old races" i didn't invest myself into those ones. So after some time i went for an Eladrin... Which wasn't kept in D&D5 core books... :/
Functionally, Humans are the worst race (unless variety human is added)
Functionally, I think the worst class is Wizard (for BG3 so far)
Aesthetics? Worst is Gnome or Dwarf, worst is Fighter (bland)
