Hellish Rebuke

Hey Everyone,

I don't know if I'm just missing it, I hope I am, but I can't seem to turn off the automatic reaction of hellish rebuke I took as a warlock. Everytime if If i have a warlock slot available, it will cast it when I get hit.

Is there a way to turn off automatic reactions?

Otherwise I almost feel I will have to reset otherwise I will have to worry about it through the end of the game.

Default should be ask before casting instead of auto-on.

Yeah, all reactions (except for perhaps opportunity attack) should default to 'ask'. Especially warlocks only having two spell slots, having them immediately pop off is pretty big.

Beware, in case of the warlock the reaction mechanic was bugged, it resetted every time you loaded a save. I wondered some times why Hellish Rebuke fired although I had activated the "ask before use" option the day before, I had to do it again. Maybe that is patched now.

Look at the right of your action bar, you'll see a small icon for rebuke. Click it and decide how you want it to behave (I just leave everything on "ask").

Thanks everyone! Looks like for some reason it was default set to autocast and I never got the ask option. Thanks to ya'll I was able to figure it out. Thank you!
