But yes, tho.
What aspect of that do you disagree with?
-Can summon a weapon from thin air OR, bound with an existing weapon.
-Player can use Spellcasting Ability (CHA) Modifier instead of STR/DEX for melee attacls/damage.
-Gain an extra attack at 5th level.
They basically baked in Thirsting blade invocation and Hex warrior feature into the Pact of the Blade Boon.
Wich is good.
"Only" things missing from Hexblade's are Accursed Specter (nice at low levels, Meh to mediocre at higher levels), Hexblade's Curse, wich is unfortunate but It is what it Is.
And Armor of Hexes, wich is something that i LOVE absolutly (Master of Hexes sucks arse balls, no one cares about this one...)
And the Hexblade patron Spells:
-Shield, Wrathful Smite
-Blur, Branding Smite
-Blink, Elemental Weapon
-Phantasmal Killer, Staggering Smite
-Banishing Smite, Cone of Cold
looks like the medium armor proficiency is missing too, would make losing Armor of Hexes slightly more bearable if we at least got that
also Master of hexes does not suck ass, you just have to have the right invocations and spells and you can just teleport behind enemies, evade all their attacks while you slaughter them, and then teleport onto the next one
On a Hexblade Warlock you only need 1 level to use Charisma for hit and damage. Which is just too good. Pact of the Blade requires level 3 which is acceptable.
Would you care to elaborate?
