DOS2 had a mirror to change looks and i believe respec (it's been a while) so maybe they might add one.
Not everyone is familiar with 5e, and restarting because you picked terrible spells would get old quick. I’m sure that thought has crossed Larian’s mind.
Worse case, it’ll get modded in.
Video games have more reason for respec, because there isn't a DM to custom-nerf encounters for your broken build. If your character is bad in a video game, you need to fix it.
