I suggest not looking that up, as I wish I never did. Although it makes a great counterpoint to make.
I always find games like this very cathartic for dealing with a phobia like this. What better way is there to overcome a fear than to literally smash it. Same reason I am slowly playing through subnautica, as terrifying as it is.
mental trauma is very difficult to overcome, no matter how silly it might seem to someone who doesn't experience it.
I have a sensation of terror if i am in water i can't see the bottom of, or above 3 stories of height.
It's irrational and illogical, yet it exists for me. Even in video games, i freak out in deep murky water, oddly enough not so much in clear skies high above the world.
As for me, not seeing another one of these from you. Bye.
now so sure i might said something without understanding it properly but i did mention it
There is a big difference between being more accessible to people with impairment and adjusting to every phobia request. There are only so many games that mask disturbing content and usually it means exesessive gore/nudity, etc, not a pixel spider.
Why? Is your phobia somehow more important?
If your argument is it affects more people then there are far more people with no such phobias, defeating your entire compaint.
No one's stopping you from requesting your phobia to be taken accounted for.
(also I'm pretty sure that's another bad faith argument)
