Your Dragonborn
Inevitably, on release, everyone will make a Dragonborn (Unless it looks terrible like Blizzards Dracthyr)

So. What will your Dragonborn character be?
I've always been fond of a Bahamut Paladin Dragonborn but I think thats become a fairly common choice these days. Alternatively I like the idea of a dragon knight, thats an actual dragon. But it does seem a shame to not use the draconic bloodline with an actual dragonborn.

So what will you do for your dragonborn?

I sure as heck won’t be making a Dragonborn. I despise them.

Personally, I'm going silver dragonborn oathbreaker paladin, but unless they release monk prior to launch date I'm going to play monk for a small time to mess around with it, prolly get to three and start my real playthrough.

I'll play with Origin characters and companions only for my first 2 or 3 playthroughs, by then I'll probably make the characters that are completely diferent to those I had to play with before.

So... no idea.

I'll only consider making one if they're more along the lines of how they're presented in Fizban's, or otherwise improved upon from the sad PHB version. Hard pass if not.

Copper Dragonborn Rogue. Paladins are overdone, I'm leaning into the trickster angle.

The title "Trickster" is usually used to disparage me, not to call me one. In Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, the developer was explicitly saying (to me): here, take this, it was "made especially for you". But I see a substitution of concepts and self-deception, instead of control there is chaos, instead of justice there is madness, instead of logic there is nastiness, instead of righteousness there is evil. The way of the "trickster" is a false (fake, trap) way of the "righteous". It is like the 'laughing batman'. Never.
Embrace the chaos, for in the end that is all. The madness is the joy, the insanity is meat & wine.
Also screw being a 'good' guy in a cRPG. Imho it's the most boring way to play.

I'm not particularly interested in Dragonbongs, I'd prefer Half-Dragons or Draconians, and my first party will be entirely elves (although I am flirting with the idea of playing a gnome).

When I finally get around to making Dragonbongs, I'll prolly make a group of four of them built around fire and necromancy - a wizard, a sorcerer, a warlock and a cleric. All evil, and I'll slaughter everything in my path.

Exactly. Just chaos + "mystique" of power that cannot be explained, Even the author does not understand where these powers come from = "incomprehensible" = If "incomprehensible," then it's a hoax... Deception.

"trickster" a person who tricks or cheats people
"Oxford Advanced American Dictionary"

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves - In this movie, the trickster actor did a great job.

That's why in my literary multi-class there is always a "priest" :
abilities that allow you to heal and denounce any lie-deception from body and soul.

Priest + Bard = to turn the larva of the Ilithids to the side of good and see things as they really are, without deception and illusion.

Priest + Bard + Paladin = Evil beings fear your existence.

Another example from Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves :

Paladin:
Not to the left, not to the right, but straight ahead!
And that's only "class 1" in your sense of classification.

AND Now add a bard and a priest = Priest + Bard + Paladin:

Neither left nor right, but say to the stone: "Move over and out of the way."
The stone: crawls out of your way.
You walk straight ahead.
I don't know what any of this is supposed to mean so I'm just gonna say I play Warlock cuz I enjoy being evil in cRPG's.

I also don't know what it means, but I enjoy playing good-aligned warlocks.

Good-aligned Warlocks are fun too, but I prefer being more shady in roleplaying games.
If you dangle power in my face i,ll take it no matter what it might cost. Divinity 2 did that to me and I tok it without hesitating.

According to the steem rules.
This game can only be played by adults.
I cannot decide for you.
It's your choice.

Please just remember that "good powers" will be very happy to help.

Evil is trying to deceive you, look at what has become of Shandra and how Ammon suffered.

Please at least don't make mistakes by their example.
I refuse to heed your words. I will continue playing my evil Dragonborn characters and loving it.

Considering I'm planning to play a Circle of the Moon Druid (super original I know), it would feel weird to be a fantasy intelligent lizard person who shapeshifts into common, everyday animals like wolves and bears (yes I know owlbears are a thing, but most Druid wildshapes are regular looking animals).

I'd rather my druid be a more human-looking race to avoid that disconnect.

Er... yes? Yeah, that's the idea.
