Yep, one of the things I do often. Or give it to a bard or AGI ranger offhand (yeah, just 1 attack per turn, but the silence is 100% to apply anyway).
I'm testing another build with scimitars - they really offered a multitude of great possible rogue weapons (have to get Weapon Master to be able to wield the scimitars at lv 4 tough). Astarion with Speedy Repply in one hand and Adamantine Scimitar in the offhand (for multiple reeling applications) is a lot of fun, but unfortunatelly he cannot also use the Chain of Liberation / linebreaker boots (or speedly lightfeet) combo.
but twohanded weapons have way more choices.
You might say that you need to kill a couple of good guys for the Woundseeker, but I don't think that's an argument: There are no bad consequences, even on a "good run". The fact that it's available (as well as the E-Blade) should be reason enough to make the Sussur-greatsword better.
Silencing is just not very important, at least if you know how to play (realizing that alpha damage has top priority). At that point in the game (~level 5), half of my opponents don't even make it to their first turn, even on tactician, because my characters all have at least DEX 16 and a couple of Initiative-upping items, so they mostly get first strike and eliminate the strongest opponents before those can employ their power, e.g. damage spells etc., even once! So there's no need to "silence" them with a Sussur weapon.
