Dancing Sword, Flame Tongue (the grown up version of Everburn), Frost Brand, Javelin of Lightning, Mace of Disruption, Mace of Terror, Oathbow, Sword of Lifestealing, Sword of Sharpness, Sword of Wounding, Trident of Fish Command and Vicious Weapons. That is slightly more than 1/3 of the weapon in the SRD (System Reference Document). I think that since bounded accuracy (the notion that bonuses to hit and ACs shouldn't go too nuts) is a core concept of 5th edition, they have been much more stingy with giving out pluses.
And that's GREAT! Bounded Accuracy is the thing I love most about 5e. It's genius.
This! and thats why my assassin will have a sussar blade because a killing weapon of silence sounds pretty freaking cool xD
Alternatively a fighter with one of those flowers on them at all times was kinda funny i just walked around with an aura of Sush! lol
Find Highcliff's house in the Blighted Village. There's a journal near the fireplace that starts the quest and a chest containing the blueprints.
Then you need to find Sussur tree bark in the Underdark, take it to Highcliff's forge and combine it with either a dagger, a sickle or a greatsword.
Click on the furnace to start it, use the bellows to make a bigger flame, place bark and weapon inside the furnace and combine them.
And even if i ignore all that and make a choice and say ok ill use it.
It's a well known fact that casters enimies are rare in rpgs... hance it is on the off chance that i see them.
But more of them later down the line when you reforge - remake a weapon with new ingredients wahtever those may be..
That way cool LOOKing weapons don't get wasted just cos a better stats come with a the new weapon. A poors man reskin if you will.
Most rpgs have this problem. And items Bg 3 are no diffrent.
In bg 3 items are homebrewed by larian in away that have nothing to do with 5e in the first place.. or that of Dnd..
OR maybe i missed Lightning Charges or the horrific 50% hp items in DND.
That only work when you are missing health (like that is suppose to balance anything ) lol worst items ever and other gimmics like that.
I just pointed out a problem with items in rpgs and Dellecross suggestion fixes that nicely.
COs items would have way better value over the span of the whole game. So if you actullty like an item you could do something and keep it longer...
Use the susser bark to make a dagger. It gives you a +1 dagger that silences on hit.
Now put that dagger in a rogues offhand (Astarion or PC)
Now your offhand attacks silence the enemy
