I play like 1-2 hours with different characters. Just trying to get a sense what character I'd want to actually bring through the first campaign, what companions I like most, etc
Playing the EA hasn't slaked my thrist for the full game, only amplified it. LIke a sip of water in a desert. Believe me, you wanna wait.
Especially now with the official launch being as close as it is.
I'm just hoping they add in "wilderness" tiles between locations. Similar to BG1 / BG2 you had areas that were interconnected by open areas you could explore (basically filler content)
If they just kick us from one location to another it will be quite disappointing. Also wandering monster encounters when "fast travelling".
"You have been waylaid and must defend yourself!"
Those were always fun.
This is hoping the game isn't simply a linear hallway.
Act 2 will be significantly larger than act 1, I’d assume around 1/10 of the game is available (maybe less).
I’d get it and play it. I don’t think you’ll spoil anything - it really only scratches the surface of the story, and it’ll give you a good idea of what class you want to play, and how to build your character.
If you’re like me, if you go in blind you’ll end up restarting 2-3 times before finishing the game because you REALLY wanted to do something different (play a different class, spec a different way) that you weren’t familiar with when you were learning the ropes.
I have this feeling none of that will be a thing.

I read somewhere from datamined information that act 1 doesn't end till sometime after you reach the city of BG. Moonrise tower is somewhere in the middle of that map so I think we have a long way to see how much we actually have in act 1.
I know I'll play the game multiple times anyway, but my first playthrough will be with friends (maybe) and so I want the first time 95% of the world to be with them. I don't care about the tutorial or the first conversations with NPCs but not too much more than that!
I think I probably should just wait..
Varies from person to person.
Then I realized you'd played Dishonored 1 and 2 but not Prey. So I'm gonna suggest you play Prey if you want some enjoyment for Easter.
