Alternatives to Nexus Mods

Hi, looking for a mod resource site for BG3 that isnt Nexus Mods, anyone got any recommendations?

At some point after (or on) full release, steam workshop should be available. Until then you're probably going to have to use Nexus.

to echo the above statement nexusmods is the go to, i do believe there is a bg3 modding discord that hosts some mods however i unfortunately don't have a link for it as i am not in it.

Larian said mod support was planned so workshop will be added eventually.

Thanks for responses. Have to wait for release then, refuse to use Nexus based on the owner/operators subjective and hypocritical virtue signalling.

I have on occasion in some games. Some work really well. I won't use Nexus or any other outside source mods.

The Steam Workshop is just as "bad" about removing mods that are created in bad faith. If you want a halfway decent modding experience, you're going to have to choose between one of two "evils."

Not to mention, devs are able to censor their game's Steam Workshop, and Larian isn't exactly a friend of regressive ideals. They are a Western European company, after all. Hell, Larian's (not-so) notable political simulator Divinity: Dragon Commander consistenly mocks "traditional" socio-political views.

They deleted the retranslation of Fire Emblem Engage (original translation is basically fanfiction), so they aren't great either.

I haven't looked but I know ts4 modding community usually posts on tumblr I'd try doing a search on their.

If you go on official Larian Discord, you can find some mods there, people post it. If you don't want to use the two "bigs"(nexus, LL), find your mod creator and they propably have patreon.

I would like to know if there is any alternitives, because I cant log in to Nexus cause the Cloudflare authetication thing is broken and keeps failing. So I wouldnt even be able to create a new account either, cause you need to authenticate for that as well, I tried.

Nexus Mod is heavily censored and restricted, so you can turn to BasedMod for mods that wouldn't have been available.
