Can you convince Araj the blood vendor to give you +2 strength without Astarion?

One of the potions that you can get from the hag gives you the ability to bite (I think it's mother's loathing), could you trick her into thinking your a vampire with that?

nah. good thought though. I think there are only two of the potions that have any positive effects, and those only last until your next rest IIRC. I don't think larian considered taking any of them BEFORE you deal with the hag, one way or the other.
