Myconid quest: Thulla spore servant bug?

Is this a bug?

Thulla is a spore servant...seems she died and was resurrected by the Sovereign...however, I did not have a chance to rescue her as I just met her for the first time.

What I did:

1) Find the myconid colony...talk to the sovereign, talk to the two ...whatever they are...they want to move to Baldur's Gate...

I did not find/meet Thulla....I did not start any quest...because some myconoids told me to leave...so I

2) continued my journeys, was attacked by duargars...killed them all...sailed away to the stronghold, was attacked by more duergars because they knew the boat I had taken...

3) Rescued the slaves, killed the drow Nere...

4) Went back to the myconid colony...found some rescued gnomes there AND Thulla, already turned to a spore servant.

Only then could I talk to the Sovereign that Nere is already dead...I had to go back though to get his head...

So I did some things not in the supposed order....

Bottom line: I did not find the poisoned Thulla and could not rescue her...as watched in a let's play...

The first time I saw her she was already a spore servant. :(

She sucumbed to uncured poison due time limit (long rest(s)) or the other related quest progression in the underdark. Thats what happens when you dont explore an area before leaving to other matters so theres your outcome. And she was at your face when reaching the Sov so you quite need to fix your tunnel vision 1st then be more cunning to details surrounding stuff.
