Silent Library Teachings of Loss: The Nightsinger, Book is Missing

I have found that the location X:772 Y:743 in Silent Library is missing the row of books containing the The Teachings of Loss: The Nightsinger. Has anyone got any ideas to resolve this or has any one found this issue as well.

Having the exact same issue 🤦‍♂️

Try returning to the Library with some other companions and see if they can detect the books. Also, be sure to use the 'Alt' key so as not to miss the actual trigger for the books.

Tried several times reloading into the library using different companions . The book refuses to spawn and I don’t know how else to get in. This really ruins my playthrough

So, let me ask this. That row of books is trapped. Did you detect the trap there? Or it did not show up at all as being able to be looted, trap or not?

* Do you have a save from just prior to entering the Library or finishing the third Trial so you can re-try?

Yes finished all 3 trials, and no not using any mods. I might have a save that’s over an 1hr back. That’s seems to be my only other option since I can’t continue shadowhearts side quest

I would double check and make sure you have 3 orbs in inventory. If not, it means that blood was probably not donated on one of the trials, thus even though it was 'finished', no Orb was collected.

Other than that? Yes, a load may be needed. ;(

I don't have the same issue, but my issue is related to yours. I found the book, but I don't know how to insert it into the circular pedestal. I play on pc.

Same issue in late January. I think I might have burned it up or something. Will the acid destroy it?

Come now, disciples, have you not learned from Lady Shar that Loss is a Gift? The absence of a book called "Teachings of Loss" is ...her showing you Her Divine way.

... I kid, I've never run into this bug, it's always on that bookshelf after you disarm the trap, so I wish I could help.
