Is there a consequence of killing everyone in emerald grove right at the moment of inner sanctum? (possible spoilers, be warned)
So I've kept most npcs alive cuz I didn't know when one would be relevant for the story (as in, providing useful stuff like quests or items). I am about to get Ketheric Thorm's relic and the game tells me it is a point of no return.

I looked up what that includes and it said I couldn't return to areas before the shadowy/dark place. Can I safely kill whatever is left there or will they suddenly show up later, still?

The tieflings I helped returned and provided some, but what about the druids? I can only imagine that the druid guy in my camp isn't going to be happy, but other than that... consequences? I want them sweet, sweet xp (even if it is but a tiny bit)

Oh if it matters, I sort of went with the good guy option of saving the druids/tieflings. I killed all goblins immediately

Don't try to min-max experience gain. There's no benefit to it, especially when you'll need to ask questions like this upon meeting every single NPC.

I can't really think of any reason why you couldn't do this, although I've never been tempted to try.

You might want to make sure Dammon has left with the rest, or you'd lose his shop in A2-3.

A ton of the character you meet in act 1 turn up later in the game, it wouldn't surprise me if killing the druids had some sort of consequences.

Dammon left long ago. That was at the end of act 1 when they left.

So the druids don't show up at some point later in the game? They're pretty much the only ones still there

I am not sure but I just tried to recruit Karlach and she literally told me to f off because I slaughtered the Druids. I did not but although I killed the Goblin leaders and cleared the temple and some gate guards there were still some left in the courtyard so that was probably my mistake.

Nah Druids are gone from the rest of the game (besides Halsin if you recruited him) although to my knowledge if you wipe out the Druids and side with Minthara/goblins Halsin shows up at your camp to kill you.

If you do kill the Druids though you can't recruit Karlach and Wyll leaves your party. Even if you dealt with the goblin leaders first the game tends to act like you sided with the goblins so my advice would be to leave them alive cause you'd lose out on two if not three companions (Karlach, Wyll and Halsin).

I don't know how it would affect Halsin if you kill the Druids, might be fun to test but it's possible you could lose out on him as a companion if you're doing a 'good' route through the game.

The Tieflings or a few goblins maybe are the only characters that go from act 1 to act 3 besides the gnome girl merchant in the goblin camp in act 1. If she survives the violence in act 1 she shows up in act 2 at Moonrise Towers and sells probably the best 1hand crossbow in the game, it has built in force damage so you can break doors and stuff with it.

I see, thanks. Yeah I'm testing a bit. I'm about to go out on a modded run that makes it like 10x times order. I love the challenge so I'm trying to figure out min-maxing strategies. The companions I don't care so much about itself, cuz I'm sticking with a few. Then again, they might be worth xp if I do their quests.

Kill everyone and let the gods sort them out.

I killed everyone in the grove except the children thieves. Well... many of the Tieflings were killed by druids not me. This definitely screwed me later but I was able to talk my way out of it with Halsin and Wyll, but Karlach would not join.... so she died too.
