loose ends...

[Fern of the Zone]

Been delving in the Underdark and Grymforge areas over the weekend...cannot find the way into the Sharran Temple that lies to the west/south-west on the map (your companions mention seeing it below)...without DIRECTLY telling the way, can someone give me some kind of hint or clue as to how to reach this area? One of the last things i can find/trying to help Shadowheart before moving on to the "Mountain Pass"...Also, is the Nightsong Blade just a myth? I have combed the Underdark all weekend, i must be missing a hole that goes even deeper or something? peace...

Nightsong Blade is not a myth it continues in act 2

You cannot reach the Shar Temple from Grymforge. You will need to progress to Act 2. It simply gives you a "Hey, isn't this location you'll go to later on purty?" teaser.

In the grymforge area that's mainly just set dressing for the parameters of the map.

Your quest objectives for the Sharran related stuff come in Act 2 and the nightsong is a major quest objective there, not act 1.

There is an elevator in grymforge that'll transition you to act 2 but:

1. Make sure you've finished all other things in act 1, including the githyanki creche/legendary mace area stuff too.

2. Depending on your playthrough style, you may want to instead take the overland mountain pass route to act 2 vs the grymforge one. It really depends on you.

appreciate yall, just trying to do absolutely everything i can, and didnt want to leave quests/journal entries left unsolved... thanks again and good luck out there in your games.

This seems to be untrue, at least in my playthrough. I did last light and drider stuff then was about to go down some stairs to after doing the shar temple stuff when lae'zel yelled at me and demanded we go to the creche first. I agreed and we all waltzed over to the mountain pass.
Fast travelling back to chapter 1 causes someone (i think halsin?) to leave party though.
