Not sure how that works but that's a thing for monks.
Absolutely. I found one that just is a staff with some bonus thunder dmg and an extra combat move.
One that is meant for mages but ironically works in melee too.. but they would only be decent for act 1..
They rest I found is as you say.. or for casters ofc...
yeah but i am looking for a staff that will work as a weapon. there are some that will easily suffice for act 1 but later on.. not so much
WHY?
We have different difficulty levels so we can do weird ♥♥♥♥ like that.
The traditional monk concept is fine for combat in the early game, but it becomes a liability later.
Personally, I'd suggest that devs apply the various maneuvres and attacks from each of the separate weapon types of quarterstaff, glaive, halberd to beuniversal across all of them...and change the graphics on those damned halberds to something smaller, they are currently ridiculously large, and look horribly unbalanced.
Another "combat staff" build would be 1 level in druid (shillelagh) 5 levels in ranger (extra attack, hunter subclass) and the rest in druid while picking up spores subclass for druid. Good temp HP, and a ton of on-hit damage. Just be sure to pick up 14 in dex for max efficiency in medium armor and use a shield.
