Quick question on elixir/potion limits
I keep reading on various posts online that you can have only 1 elixir/potion at one time, but I see nothing about this on the Wiki. So can someone confirm/explain exactly what the limit is? Is it 1 potion and 1 elixir limit; or 1 potion or 1 elixir limit?

There's no limit on potions at all. Elixirs with the text "Replaces effects from other elixirs" do exactly as they say. Some don't have this text and can be consumed after consuming one that does and you get both effects.

You can use as many potions as you like, but you can only have one elixir effect going at a time and almost all of them last till your next long rest.

1 Elixir at a time (if you drink another it will replace the first). Elixir effects last until Long Rest.

Any number of potions. Potion effects last a number of turns.

it is the elixir last until long rest, only one effect type at a time. Potions are instant or short duration items. Not sure if i ever had a potion that lasted over 10 rounds of combat.

Thanks, guys! So apparently a lot of misinformation out there online! I was afraid of using more than 1 potion at a time, too.

There is no limit for potions

Elixir is one

But you can use a elixir of cultivation, cast the bonus spell and use any other elixir except for the same cultivation elixir in a row.

That's why you should save the game often, then just PLAY IT and take 2 potions instead of 1... Then you already know more, than the avg. folks on the internet. ;D
