Mayrina's brother bodies

I guess i took too long getting back to the hags quests cause the brothers bodies are gone. I forgot to investigate them before i left to deal with the goblins, is there anyway to see them again or are they just gone?

Corpses do not de-spawn; you likely chose a dialogue path that led to Auntie Ethel mentioning that she honest-to-goodness returned them to their farm, in which case there are no bodies populated on the map for you to examine or investigate.

I have been through act 1 about 10 times. The most recent patch might have bugged them because I've had 1 and 0 bodies for her brothers. Whereas before the patch I always had 2 bodies.

I've only ever found one of the bodies. Has anyone ever found both of them?

They lie almost next to each other. Hard to miss when going for the lair directly.

Odd. I only ever found one body as well, right out front of Ethel's place. The other I figured I just missed. This has been the case since the game released and in every patch.

Wonder what's causing that.

Well the thing is, Ive done a ton of long rests and already finished the goblin quests and such. i know for a fact i accused her of knowing where Mayrina is. the bodies are just gone, im afraid im gunna have to rewind a good while back about 9 hours back

You miss nothing more than a little bit of dialogue by not speaking to the brothers. They do not make any reappearance in your game in future Acts and there is no way of preventing their disappearance/death. I personally would not consider reverting 9 hours back for a bit of sparse dialogue.

At my current playthrough the brothers ran after ethel, I passed Investigation check, went to camp to switch companions and headed into the swamp. Couldn't find the bodies where they usually appear, so I'm thinking it is a bug.

Because, if I remember correctly there was a playthrough where I didn't go to camp and entered the swamp and there still there bodies didn't appear.
