Meet Halsin at camp 'cept he's not there

i cant seem to find halsin at the camp after rescuing him , it's as if he's been deleted from the game, nowhere to be found, not even in the grove or camp.
Zevlor died, the tieflings left, i killed kahga

Objectives: with goblin leaders dead , Halsin and the grove can rest easy, He'll be in camp to be discuss our next move.

Please help...hours of work, i beg that it does no go to waste.

i just checked the dialogues and he said that he'll join me at camp, as soon as he settled his matter whatever that means...
So...am i supposed to wait.....?

Have you finished the missions in the Underdark?

he is in castle moonveil,
if you take the main entrance and go down the stairs he is in the hall on the right side.

i was as confused as you are and ran around in act 2 until i finally found him

I've been in the underdark though...but haven't really explored it yet...

Problem is i'm currently in act 1...

that is probably not a problem.

what halsim wants to discuss with you is that he wants to cure the shadow curse for which he needs you to get to moonveil castle. he then tells you that there is an alternative route through the underdark. But that path is optional and getting to moonveil castle is mandatory for story progression anyway.

i expect halsim will simply spawn in moonveil castle in the position i described after you rescue the nightsong so that you can continue his questline from there.

All of the sudden my journal updated and it says that Halsin was defeated before he could help us with the parasites, maybe his research can be of use....what the actual ♥♥♥♥ is going on?

i have no idea.
unfortunately you need halsim to be alive to finish his questline.
apparently i cannot help you, after i rescued him from his cell and killed everything in that goblin castle, he would show up in the camp in my playthrough.
