PSA: You can use Shillelagh on dual staves with Dual Wielder feat
Don't know if this is by design or a bit of a cheese, but you can have Shillelagh active on both your staves (also I assume clubs, torches, salamis etc) which makes dual wielding them quite strong. Especially with two weapon fighting multiclassed in.

However because Shillelagh only applies to the main hand weapon when cast, in order to do it you have to change your off-hand staff to your main slot. Use the cantrip on that one while it lingers on the other and you now have 2 juiced up magic smacky sticks.

It's a lie. You can't dual-wield staves I just checked on my Druid.

Unless it's after selecting Dual-wield feat, probably. Or mod even.

And so if you need to swap weapons during combat that's wasting two whole turn just to cast 2 Shillelagh - unless you cast before combat which I find it tedious.

What's the point of multiclassing into Two Weapon Fighting if you need to have the Dual Wielder Feat anyway?

You can use double Shillelagh on 2 torches like described above.
Since torch is considered to be a light weapon, everyone can dual wield it without prerequisites.
As Spore Druid with your class buff active you then have 2x (1d8+1d4+1d6+WIS), using your Action and Bonus action... which ist pretty neat in the early game

Dual Wielder Feat is different from Two Weapon Fighting Style.

Dual Wielder Feat lets you use 2 versatility Weapons at the same time as long as they dont have the "heavy" or "two handed" trait AND you gain +1 to your Armor Stat while Dual Wielding

Two Weapon Fighting Style would let you use your profiecency bonus on attacks with your Off-Hand Weapon

I will try it tonight after work if I remember and let you all know if it works with the Dual Wielder Feat

Two Weapon Fighting shouldnt be needed as Shillelagh gives you already your Profiecency Bonus to attacks and if it acctualy works when you Dual Wield Quaterstaves it sound very good, but you wouldnt have a high AC to not get cracked in half fairly fast by most enemies, as a Druid typicaly doesnt have the most Dex (which would be good to have with the gear from Act 2 and onward as there are some pieces that remove the 2 AC max from Medium Armor) and when they lose their shield and get only +1 for dualwielding it..... well they are not that healthy and resistant to things 😬
They also dont get the extra Attack at level 5 which would make Shillelagh better if they just dipped into it as a Ranger maybe as they also use Wisdom as there spellcaster modiefier, the extra Attack and the heavy armor profiecency if they go into it
