Which adamantine Item do you usualy forge?
I did the shield and the mace before, but this time I forged scale plate armor for Shadowheart. But can't decide which 2. item.

I do use Karlach as front fighter so I don't need the heavy armor. But I could make the heavy armor and give it Laezel just for fun.

I could also go with the shield also for Shadowheart or the Mace. But shields and weapons there are a couple other great ones in the game already. What do you think?

Plate and shield are hardest to replace. Heavy armor also sells for most.

You can do it twice? I thought the ingredients only allow for one time

The splint and mail armors, as both are more valuable and get more mileage than any of the weaponry, which is pitiable but given that you can acquire a certain legendary weapon in Act 1, everything else would seem rather dull by comparison.

Longsword. Everyone in my team uses some form of sword because aesthetically they are cool. Sure maybe a mace or uncool weapon may be better but given how easy it is to roflstomp in this game I doubt ill ever regret not minmaxing.

One medium, one heavy armor. Leave that quest with three of my four characters immune to crits. Yes, please.

Depends on my party composition. The weapons are useless. They only crit on objects. I generally just make 2 sets of Splint armor, but one Splint armor and a Shield is decent, too.

Mace was a big letdown and I never used it, but the armor holds strong until act 3.

I went with one scale mail and one splint mail. Shield is also a very useful and widely applicable choice.

There are 2 deposits you can crack whilst roaming about Grymforge. Worthwhile, I'd say.
Nothing.
Magic missle spam for the win.

Lea'zal starting armor will get you through the game.
But if it is a clear upgrade.
Armor>Shields.

Simply put lea'zal is a murder machine.
The less she gets hit the less spellslots you waste healing her.
If at all possible want want a healer(Cleric or druid) A spellcaster(Wizard or sorceror) 1 frontliner and yourself.
A hasted frontliner will kill 90% of the game on its on.
Expercial when you buff there ac to godtier.
Shield of faith + Haste on lea'zal is a lot of dead enemies.
Both armors.
The weapons are only great for breaking down inanimate objects like walls
And the shield is outclassed by others.

No. Barb can't wear armor and still get their unarmored benefits.
Edit: Actually, I think only heavy affects rage.

Nah, Barbs are better in the buff.
Armor's great for any low dex people though.

In my game, Lae'zel wears the 'medium' armor, and my MC paladin wears the 'heavy' armor.

I make the mace. It's an easy item to throw to the gnomes later in the prison to help them to escape.

Yup. You can rage in light to medium armor. Not heavy

https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Rage

BUT, Barbarian's have Unarmored Defense

https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Unarmored+Defense

Which adds CON + Dex to AC if no armor.
