Magic missle spam for the win.
Lea'zal starting armor will get you through the game.
But if it is a clear upgrade.
Armor>Shields.
Simply put lea'zal is a murder machine.
The less she gets hit the less spellslots you waste healing her.
If at all possible want want a healer(Cleric or druid) A spellcaster(Wizard or sorceror) 1 frontliner and yourself.
A hasted frontliner will kill 90% of the game on its on.
Expercial when you buff there ac to godtier.
Shield of faith + Haste on lea'zal is a lot of dead enemies.
The weapons are only great for breaking down inanimate objects like walls
And the shield is outclassed by others.
Edit: Actually, I think only heavy affects rage.
Nah, Barbs are better in the buff.
Armor's great for any low dex people though.
In my game, Lae'zel wears the 'medium' armor, and my MC paladin wears the 'heavy' armor.
Yup. You can rage in light to medium armor. Not heavy
https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Rage
BUT, Barbarian's have Unarmored Defense
https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Unarmored+Defense
Which adds CON + Dex to AC if no armor.
