[Melee] What are all the ways to get Extra Attack?
Hello,

I'm trying to find all the Cumulative ways to gain an additional attack, for a melee build.
If we don't take level into consideration, here's what's possible to combine :

- 1 Extra Attack is automatically gained for the following classes
Barbarian at level 5
Fighter at level 5 and level 11
Monk at level 5
Paladin at level 5
Ranger at level 5
College of Valour at level 6
College of Swords at level 6
https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Extra+Attack

- Warlocks level 5 (Pact of the Blade) gain an extra attack, which is cumulative with the one just before
https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Deepened+Pact

- Warriors level 2 (Action Surge) gains an extra action point (1 per short rest)
https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Action+Surge

- War priests can use a charge (get 3 charges at level 1) to attack with a bonus action
https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/War+Priest

- Rogues (thieves subclass) get an additional bonus action at level 3
https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Fast+Hands

- Haste gives you an extra action point
Spell can be learned by the following :
Sorcerer, Wizard, Oath of Vengeance
Warlock (Pact of the Tome) at Level 5
Druid (Circle of the Land with the Grassland or Arctic Spell Circle) at Level 5
Bard (Magical Secrets) at Level 6 (Lore) or 10
https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Haste

Do you know any other way to get additional cumulative attacks?

Now let's some some quick math.
Let's say your character is multiclassed and has no level limit (I want to understand what stacks) :
- Warrior level 2 : Action surge +1 action point
- Warrior level 5 : +1 Extra Attack
- Warlock level 5 : +1 Extra Attack
- War Priest level 1 : +1 Extra Attack using bonus action
- Rogue level 3 : +1 Extra Attack using bonus action and war priest ability
- Gets Hasted : +1 action point

So each action point gives him 3 attacks.
With action surge, he has 2 action points, so 6 attacks.
With haste, he has 3 action points, that makes 9 attacks.
Plus 2 war priest bonus attacks, this adds 2 attacks.
So 11 attacks total.

If we stay in the 12 levels limit, let's delete the warlock level 5 extra attack.
So each action point gives him 2 attacks.
With action surge, he has 2 action points, so 4 attacks.
With haste, he has 3 action points, that makes 6 attacks.
Plus 2 war priest bonus attacks, this adds 2 attacks.
So 8 attacks total.

Could someone confirm if my understanding is correct?
And what are the other ways to get extra attacks?

Thanks for taking the time to read me and have a nice day. :)

Rogues do not get an extra attack. Thief subclass rogues get an extra bonus action. This is only usable as an attack if you have something that will use it, such as an offhand bonus attack from dual wielding, or the war priest's ability.

It does if you spend an action point again... and currently the one from deepend pact does, apparently. Known bug. Will not last forever.

Spoilers, but some weapons give an ACTION on kill.

Sadly unreliable though... He is kinda looking at "opening salvo" sorts of builds
Paladin 7, Warlock 5(pact of blade) gives you 3 attacks at the cost of 1 feat.

Thanks for your answers.
Even if I don't answer, I read them all :)

You also receive additional action after killing someone while under the effect of elixir of bloodlust (once per turn limit). Also, Warlock's Pact of the Blade should not stack with the Extra Attack feature according to D&D rules, so it will be probably patched at some point. Otherwise your calculations are correct, but keep in mind that you won't be able to use all of those infinitely (as you probably know :D)
Alternatively for War Priest you can also go Berserker (barbarian subclass) as it allows an attack/throw on bonus action while in rage, but every use of that gives you -1 penalty to attack rolls until your rage ends.

Add to this Great Weapon Master and killing/critting gives you one extra that you can use as a Bonus Action.

With Haste that's 7 attacks and with Elixir of Bloodlust that's 10 in most cases. Could go 5 Paladin / 5 Warlock / 2 Fighter for Action Surge which would mean 13 attacks.

Mind Sanctuary allows you to use Bonus Actions and Actions interchangeably. With that you can play around a bit more.
