Amulet of the drunkard?
despite what the tooltip says... it seems I am healing only once, when I first drink the alcohol, I dont seem to be healing afterwards....

Or does it only work during combat? (I tried afterwards)

In the dnd game, the item indeed heals only ONCE. So this is either a buggy item or simply incorrect item description.
