NOT PROFICIENT WITH HEAVY ARMOR

what does this mean I thought I won't be able to use it but I still can. does it mean I can't use its skills that is on the list of it?

you will not be able to cast spells for sure and maybe use some abilities as well. take the heavy armor feat if you dont have it on next lvl up

^^This and basically only wear armour your class is proficient with and play around that. If u don't like that u can't wear it u gotta change ur class, or multiclass but I would save that for later in the game.
