Reset character
So, I'm playing this game with my buddies and I gotta say, I'm really starting to despise my character. But I don't wanna be a buzzkill and make everyone start over just 'cause I'm not feelin' it.
Is there anything I can do or am I just stuck with my character for the rest of the game?
Any chance they'll add an option to totally reset your character in a future update?

FULLY redo ANY character for a max 100g from Withers in your Camp. Can do it as many times as you like with no increase in cost. Just as if you were at the 2nd step of character creation. You don't pay until you accept the changes.

there are a couple of options you have.

You can either just visit Withers in your camp (you should have got him pretty early on)
And then you can pay him 100gold to change your class.
You will always sync with the party level, you choose a new class and ability scores etc. and then you can level up to the level your party currently is at. You can do so as much as you want and try classes / multiclassing.
You will not be able to change your appearance and your overall race this way.

If you are not the Host / or if you send the savegame to your buddy and let them host the game - You can send existing Player characters to the abyss and delete them from your Campaign by talking to them when they are not controlled by a Player. You can then start a whole new character with joining the campaign.
Don't be irritated - the Game may ask you to "send them to camp" but it will delete them.

The campaign in question is a friend's game. We tried the second option you suggested but every time I join i'm back with same character.

We did not try that. How do we go about it?

First you exit Steam. Then you launch the game via executable. Twice. The first instance is your normal profile. The second is a debug profile. Once the debug profile is loaded, exit the first instance, then start Steam again so you can connect with each other - or your host use the server ID to let you join.

That might give you a new ID for the game and let you join as a new player = new character.

Did not work.
Thanks for the help regardless.
