2 questions

1-can i become a mind flayer and continue playing as one, if yes how, don't go into too much detail just tell me if it's like getting all the mind flayer skills or something like that. if it is that is it possible to do it without killing the goblins at the camp?
2- in the game you can learn spells by having Scrolls and reading them right so far I know how being a wizard works but I would like to play as a druid is it possible for me to learn those spells like a wizard while being a druid without taking on the wizard class? If it is not and I absolutely need to be a wizard I have two more questions about that: what is the highest level for a spell you can get in the game because I wouldn't want to split my levels between Druid and wizard to in the end learn that if I split it level 6 and level 6 that there are spells that I can't learn because they require me to be level seven or level 12 and my second question if you become a wizard and choose necromancy does it only reduces the amount of money you need to learn necromancy skills or does it actually give you access to different necromancy spells?

So to update anyone looking at this thread, if you use the glitch to become a mind flayer at the end of act 2 moving onwards towards baldurs gate you lose your ability to level up. I only noticed after leaving act two and moving onwards towards the gate. After the night attack and subsequent fight i realized only half my party leveled up. I will likely continue to play on that account as it indicates i have a goal to reach to level up.

TLDR: Utilizing the glitch resets your current experience level and may make you unable to continue to level up.

Update: It completely ignore you hitting the level up at that point the game just doesn't understand what to do with it. Makes sense they/re pretty overpowered.

You can use cheat engine to manually add the mind flayer spells to your character. There's also a (normally inaccessible) disguise self spell that lets you turn into a mind flayer.

Combining these two things should functionally let you play as a mind flayer without interfering with anything else.
