Cull the weak bug or intended?
I have the deathstalker mantle which says if you kill a target you go invisible, but if the kill happens through cull the weak it doesn't seem to proc. So i was wondering if this was intended or not?

I think deathstalker mantle is intended for melee kills alone. I’d have to read the tool tip again, but I’m feeling confident lol

It requires an action or bonus action to have caused the kill... not something that follows afterwards.

I think that they also do not die when you kill them via the burning condition turns after they stepped into the fire you created. Or lightning water you made by stepping into it with the right boots on.

Smells like fart...I mean like a LArian code wetdream sizzle...Mmmh that came out wrong and wet, sorry, an un-addressed game bug, Larian's specialty.

I've used it on my bow ranger, and it worked without any issue.

Reading the Culling the Weak's description I don't think it's a direct attack.
More an effect and the mantle probably doesn't count that as you killing them directly.
Not sure if that's a bug or intended.

Fair enough. I think homie said it the best:

Not sure of the devs' intention, but it seems as if the damage which reduces the HP to 0 must come from an (bonus) action directly. Lighting charged eldrich blast + hex + radiant sometimes doesn't trigger the bloodlust elixir. I guess it's the same premise.

If it's supposed to work like this, i kinda wish that it would say so.

I honestly feel like cull the weak should work with it. Any damage that happens within my turn should trigger it IMO (provided that it kills the target of course).

It would be nice to know Larians stance on it, but i doubt there's a way to reach out to them about this.

Could try Larian's own forums at https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=cfrm

...but it is implied that the wearer must be the direct cause... and that implies via action or bonus action. It is also not triggered by making them burn because you set a fire and they grabbed the Burning condition from that.
Direct cause, not secondary cause.
Intended.
