Moonrise Towers - prison break question
I want to free the tieflings and the gnomes. It looks like it's impossible without fighting the guards and the warden.

I don't want to waste my time, so here's a question: if I kill all the hostiles and help the prisoners get on the boat, will it affect the rest of Moonrise in any way?

Two groups. Two walls. Turn-based mode. Retreat as the two groups of npc's flee. Hold the line at the point the two tunnels meet, at the boat.
When they start calling for you ("we're ready, we are going to leave without you!"), run towards the boat, and click it.

(edit) And know this... there is a REASON you had to transition to enter the jail. Agroing these folks does not agro the whole tower. Just the ones in the jail.

Had to actually head BACK to the jail when I was clearing the tower, to be thorough, lol

Nope, all good. That's what I did on my first playthrough after i messed up my attempt to do it stealthily (which i think is possible).

Note, throw the gnome his pickaxe or whatever if it, don't open the cells. Opening the cells makes it harder, let them go out the back way through the rocks, then follow them.
Stealthy is possible... Silence on those walls, for when you bust em might help... until a guard sees the gaping holes in the wall.
There WILL be a fight... but only in the jail area.
I accidentally started combat by trespassing the wardens tower, i killed all the guards and the rest of the tower didn't take notice. Kill the guards and give the gnome a hammer to bust down the back walls.
I just stealth killed a few of the guards and more importantly the eyes flying around and was able to free them without the rest of the tower going hostile or having to fight after freeing them
You can find a big whole in the floor behind Warden's office in the prison, there is new location there where you can travel to the tunnel that are connected to the prison cells. There you split you group, destroy prison cell's wall and run towards the boat. If you do it fast enough you would not need to fight the guards. They still will try to capture you and will be hostile but only in prison, the rest of the moonrise tower will act as if nothing happened.
I helped both of them escape after killing the Warden in her room and a guard that came to investigate after I killed the eye up the ladder. No other guards were hostile and no one tried to stop the gnomes and tieflings from escaping after I gave Wulbren his pickaxe.

I did have to break the tiefling's cell wall myself because Wulbren just stood next to it and didn't do anything.
Thanks for all the replies. I'm not having problems with the fight, I just wanted to know about the consequences.

Fun fact: I tried to block the warden from flipping the switch that opens the cells (lured her out of the room with cat meows and stacked some barrels in the doorway) and she just teleported right next to it and used it anyway. I feel cheated!
what I did was take out the warden first then the (invisible) scrying eyes then the moving gard then the last gard and the rest of the tower was none the wiser
If you kill the guys in the prison it doesn't affect the rest of moonrise, if you kill all the guards and then give wulbren a tool to get through the wall, as long as you tell him to help the tieflings as well he will break both walls and get them to the boat and leave for last light.

Otherwise you can take them through their cell door and out the side entrance to the docks but you'd have to deal with guards there too.
Just arrived there, made the entrance fight and killed everyone (fought with the Harpers, Jaheira went suicidal charge and died), but now there's noone in the prison ...
What did I do wrong ??

You need to rescue the prisoners before fighting at moonrise, they're dead now.

Huh they could have made that more clear and manageable..
The Harpers went there fighting as soon as I got the relic in the Mausoleum and went back to the Inn, didn't even had a choice to delay the attack...

They ask you to infiltrate moonrise, if you don't do this and go to the mausoleum you skip that part of the story and go straight to the fighting.

Yeah, I supposed I could do the infiltration thing after the Mausoleum..
There's nothing hinting at the contrary, nor that the Harpers would go nuts after seeing Nightsong and not even talk with you about it before leaving
