Our Fiery Friend talking to Lord Gortash ( spoilers )

I didnt take Karlach with me when talking first to Gortash, and now in the meantime Gortash is mad at me so i cant go back in and talk to him without triggering a fight with everyone.
I am now going to go to Avernus i think from House of Hope, so my question is if i take Karlach with me can i progress her quest further or what do i do?

Karlach's questline at that point revolves around confronting gortash, so it won't progress until you confront him and by confront i mean murder

fight him with Karlach in your party. Thats it her quest is done. she has the least amount of quest content lol.
