question about final battle and allies

so i just finished my first playthrough to the credits and final cutscene.

i am confused a bit about the battle in the final area. i start out in a staging area of sorts and all the people i have helped or rescued say they are going to help me in this final battle. so i expect to see those characters appear in some way during the final battle.

but after seeing them at the staging area. i never saw one of them again.

is something kind of borked here?

There is a button above your character portrait that you need to use to "call allies" Some of the allies I called upon seems pretty weak though. I tried using Dame Aylin and she got killed in one turn by the red dragon lol

You have a new ability called "call allies" that is above your character portrait at the bottom of your screen

Yeah, use the call allies button. Be aware that some of them outright suck for some reason. (Devil lady, Nightsong)

some are for call allies troops physically some ar about giving u specific aid .

Where exactly and what does this button look like? I've clicked everywhere and there's nothing anywhere...

thats because you killed everyone, you genocidal maniac, there is no one left alive to call in

NO. There were a lot of them in this "camp" before the final fight, but I can't summon any of them? Bug?

you mean your concentration camp? hate to break it to you, they're dead, no one left to summon
