First fight on beach

On ravaged beach is absolutly ridicilously hard. Tried sneaking around or jump, nothing works, im a bard with shadowheart, any advice on how get past this?

One of the 3 thingies is standing next to a nautiloid tank which, if you use SHs firebolt cantrip, you can blow up and insantly kill one, which then sets them as surprised and you can probably kill another one before they react.

If you mean the brains, yeah, hit from ranged to start. You get surprise and usually can kill 1 before they react. Staying at ranged they then do a rush to get to you but then can not attack for that round giving you a chance to kill another. Then is 2 on 1 to finish.

Before that fight you can climb / jump up on the cliff and avoid that fight. Gale and the Gith are also not far up there.

If you are skilled or lucky enough, you can pick the lock for the crypt and go that way. Or jump up the cliffs to the right, right before the encounter, bypassing it. That way you could grab up to 3 other companions before going back and fighting them if you wanted.

Just sneak up on them for a free hit also forcing them into surprised, giving you a free turn.

Just ensure you're sneaking up on them before they retreat to the inner part of the room, otherwise it's much harder.

Just use crossbows like a normal person, sneak up on the ledge and fire away.
Doesn't matter what class you are, you likely have 14+ dex

I think people that play in tactician are playing a different game. The brains have ranged attacks. This fight is a little dumb at the beginning of the game. You just take the fun out of the game doing this.
